Robin Ticciati

Robin Ticciati assumed the position of Music Director and Artistic Advisor to the Gävle Symphony Orchestra (Sweden) with the opening of the 2006/2007 season and became the Music Director of Glyndebourne on Tour (GOT) in January, 2007. From the season 2009/10 he becomes Principal Conductor of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra. His career has progressed rapidly with recent engagements including the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden, Filarmonica della Scala, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, and Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, as well as acclaimed opera revivals in Stuttgart and Zürich. He has been immediately reengaged by all aforementioned ensembles.
