Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra has an illustrious history boasting past Music Directors such as André Previn, Lorin Maazel and Mariss Jansons. Artistic Advisor Sir Andrew Davies, along with Principal Guest Conductor Yan Pascal Tortelier and Endowed Guest Conductor Chair Marek Janowski, began the 2007/8 season in a historically innovative leadership model and from September 2008 will pass the baton onto Manfred Honeck who will take up the role of PSO's Music Director. PSO has a long and impressive touring history having performed 30 international tours and in January 2008 they embarked upon a three week long Pittsburgh 250 Ambassador Tour in Europe to mark their 250th anniversary. Askonas Holt is delighted to be arranging two future tours for Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra with Maestro Honeck in May 2009 in Asia and in Europe in May 2010.
