Maria Luigia Borsi

The Italian soprano Maria Luigi Borsi is not only appreciated for her fine lyric voice she is also becoming well known for her ability as a stage actress.

Her career will take her to Salzburg for Desdemona in the new 'Otello' conducted by Muti as well as to Teatro la Fenice for 'La Traviata', to the Teatro Comunale in Florence for Mimi in 'La Boheme' and 'Cosi' fan tutte' at the Teatro Massimo, Palermo.

She has also sung Beethoven's Ninth Symphony at the Teatro degli Arcimboldi in Milan conducted by Lorin Maazel and a Puccini Gala with the Salzburg Camerata
