Ludovic Morlot
The French musician Ludovic Morlot is quickly establishing a reputation as one of the leading conductors of his generation. During the 2007/8 season he returns to the New York Philharmonic and Chicago Symphony as well as making his debut with the Toronto and Dallas Symphony Orchestras. In Europe he will conduct for the first time the DSO Berlin, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Budapest Festival and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestras.
He has a strong relationship with the Boston Symphony Orchestra having conducted them in many public concerts in both Boston and Tanglewood. Other regular appearances include the Rotterdam Philharmonic, City of Birmingham Symphony and Ensemble intercontemporain. He has collaborated with many distinguished soloists including Christian Tetzlaff, Lynn Harrell, Emanuel Ax and Jessye Norman.
