Jurgita Adamonytė

The Lithuanian-born mezzo-soprano Jurgita Adamonytė studied at the Royal Academy of Music and the Cardiff International Academy of Voice. She has sung Ursula (Beatrice and Benedict) with Chicago Opera Theatre. Her engagements this season include Cherubino in the Salzburg Festival production of Le nozze di Figaro in Japan (under Robin Ticciati) and Idamantes (Idomeneo) in Amsterdam, Lisbon and London with Europa Galante and Fabio Biondi. She will make her debut with the Royal Opera, Covent Garden in the 2008/2009 season.
