Julian Rachlin
Rachlin has already established himself as one of the leading violinists of his generation. Continually bringing audiences to their feet in top concert halls throughout the world for the past 15 years, he received one of the most prestigious awards for classical musicians, the coveted "Accademia Musicale Chigiana" International Prize. He is in demand from the world's major orchestras and conductors including Mehta, Maazel, Gatti, Jansons and was the youngest ever soloist to appear with the Wiener Philharmoniker. He is a committed chamber musician and has recently taken up the viola.
