Ensemble Modern

Formed in 1980, the Ensemble Modern is one of the world's leading ensembles of modern music. Commissioning and performing around 20 premieres each year, the Ensemble regularly appears at the Lincoln Center Festival in New York, Settembre Musica, Turin, Festival d’Automne in Paris and many others. Ensemble Modern has worked with such renowned composers as George Benjamin, Heiner Goebbels, Steve Reich and Frank Zappa.
