Enrique Mazzola
Among the most innovative and dynamic conductors of his generation, Enrique Mazzola is already well established on an international level. Alongside a broad range of operatic conducting, he is an expert interpreter of contemporary music and also specialises in the classical and early romantic periods. He has conducted at Théâtre du Champs-Elyseés, La Scala, Bayerische Staatsoper, Stuttgart Staatstheater, La Monnaie and Maggio Musicale, and collaborates regularly with orchestras such as the Orchestre National de France, Tokyo Philharmonic, Orchestre de Paris, Russian National Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Orchestra Nazionale della RAI, NDR Radiophilharmonie and Orchestre Philarmonique de Montecarlo. Opera plans for the current season and beyond include 'Don Giovanni' and 'Le Comte Ory' with Staatstheater Stuttgart; 'La Favorita' and 'La vedova scaltra' with Opéra de Montpellier; 'Falstaff' for Vlaamse Opera; 'Macbeth' for Opéra du Rhin; 'L'Italiana' in Algeri for Maggio Musicale; and 'L'elisir d'amore' for Glyndebourne Festival. The current season also include NDR Hannover, Russina National Symphony, Orquesta Ciudad de Grada, The Orchestra of the Bolshoi Theatre and Orchestre National de l'Ile de France.
