Emma Matthews

One of Australia's foremost artists, her roles in recent years for Opera Australia have included Cleopatra (Giulio Cesare), Juliette in Romeo & Juliette, the title roles in both Lakme and Lulu, the title role in The Cunning Little Vixen, Sophie, Ilia, both Blonde and Konstanze, Marie in La Fille du régiment and Nannetta. Her 2007 engagements include the world premiere of “The Love of The Nightingale “(Mills) for the Perth Festival, Rosina and the four heroines in “The Tales of Hoffmann”.
