Cora Burggraaf

Dutch mezzo-soprano Cora Burggraaf has already establsihed an enviable reputation in both opera and concert. Her concert repertoire ranges from Handel and Mozart to Strauss, Britten and Tippett, with appearances including the Rotterdam Philharmonic and Netherlands Radio Chamber Orchestras and the London Mozart Players and concerts including the Tanglewood Festival, London’s Wigmore Hall, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris. In opera she has sung with Garsington Opera, San Francisco Opera, the Royal Opera, Covent Garden and the Netherlands Opera. This season her engagements include Hansel for Welsh National Opera and Stephano (Romeo et Juliette) for the Salzburg Festival and she will return to WNO in 2009 as Cherubino.
