Anna Kiknadze

Anna Kiknadze studied at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire and has been a member of the Young Singers Academy of the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, home of the Kirov Opera for three years. Having been a f finalist in the 2001 Cardiff Singer of the World Competition and 2002 Placido Domingo Operalia Competition in Paris, Ms Kiknadze has recently sung Pauline in Pique Dame at the Bayerische Staatsoper, and Eugene Onegin at both the Teatro de la Maestranza and the Theater St Gallen

She has sung Olga in 'Eugene Onegin' at the Graz Opera, with the TROS Orchestra in Rotterdam and Utrecht and at the Teatro de la Maestranza, Seville. She has also sung Mavra in Los Angeles with Esa-Pekka Salonen and Pauline in 'Pique Dame' at the Bayerische Staatsoper, Olga in 'Eugene Onegin' at the Theater St. Gallen and Marquise Melibea in 'Viaggio a Reims' at the Chatelet Theatre and and 'Odna' with the Frankfurt Radio.

Her future engagements include Federica in 'Luisa Miller' at the Bayerische Staatsoper and Mrs Quickly in 'Falstaff' with the Sao Paolo SO in Brazil
