Angela Denoke

Angela Denoke is one of the most sought after German sopranos of her generation. In 1999 she was voted Singer of the Year by Opernwelt. She appears with the major conductors, opera houses and orchestras and in recital at the leading concert halls and festivals.

Recordings include: 'Wozzeck' (EMI), 'Fidelio' (EMI), 'Katya Kabanova' (ORFEO) as well as 'Katya Kabanova' (as DVD), 'Die Tote Stadt' (as DVD and CD), 'Cardillac' (as DVD) and 'Die Walkuere' (as DVD and CD).

Her future engagements include recitals in Paris, Cologne, Barcelona, Oviedo and Frankfurt. She returns to London (Salome and The Gambler), Munich (Salome, Der Rosenkavalier), Vienna (Salome, Arabella, Der Rosenkavalier, Parsifal, Lohengrin, Die tote Stadt), Berlin (Der Rosenkavalier) and Paris (Cardillac, Wozzeck, The Makropulos Affair, Fidelio). She will make her debut at Teatro alla Scala in Milan in The Makropulos Affair.
