Pogossov steals the show in Toronto

Askonas Holt Baritone Rodion Pogossov wows critics with his spellbinding portrayal of Figaro, in the Canadian Opera Company’s production of Gioacchino Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia this month at the Four Seasons Centre, Toronto.

High praise was given from all sides, with this “memorable Figaro” being a highly successful role for the singer, with him even being described as an ‘operatic Buster Keaton!’.
