Dorothea Röschmann on tour in North America



This week internationally acclaimed soprano Dorothea Röschmann commences a 4-week concert and recitals tour in North America. Her first concerts take place in Chicago alongside world renowned pianist Mitsuko Uchida who joins her for three performances of Schumann’s Frauenliebe und leben with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (24 April 2015). Dorothea then travels to Canada to join Les Violons du Roy for performances of Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas alongside excerpts from King Arthur and The Fairy Queen in Montreal, Quebec and at New York’s Carnegie Hall (9, 10 and 12 April). 
For the final leg of her tour, she re-joins Mitsuko Uchida to give recitals in Philadelphia, Chapel Hill, Atlanta and Carnegie Hall where she returns for her debut recital in the ‘Stern Auditorium’ on the Perelman Stage.
