Daniel Harding makes his Boston Symphony debut

This Thursday Daniel Harding makes his debut with the Boston Symphony Orchestra conducting the American premiere of Turnage’s Speranza. Daniel led the world premiere of Speranza with the London Symphony Orchestra earlier this year, which will soon be released on the LSO Live label. They will also perform Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde with Christianne Stotijn and Michael Schade.
Christianne is notable for her performances of Mahler; she has performed Das Lied von der Erde with the LSO conducted by Bernard Haitink as well as with the Bayerischer Rundfunk Munich conducted by Riccardo Chailly.
