Karina Canellakis is making a last minute diversion to Copenhagen this week before her impending London debut with the Purcell School in a fortnight, as she steps in for Yuri Temirkanov at the Danish National Symphony.
Principal Conductor Fabio Luisi said “Karina Canellakis is on her way to becoming a great conductor” and had already thoroughly recommended her to his orchestra late last year.
