Bevanly singer!

Young soprano dazzles at English National Opera

Many congratulations to Sophie Bevan who has begun her season in a blaze of glory, singing the role of Télaïre in English National Opera’s production of Rameau’s Castor&Pollux. The critics have been unanimous in their praise of Sophie’s performance, with Rupert Christiansen of The Telegraph saying “The singers could hardly be bettered…Sophie Bevan, utterly enchanting…”  and Richard Morrison of The Times saying that she sang “Telaïre’s arias gorgeously”.

Hot on the heels of this success, Sophie will return to English National Opera for her first Sophie Der Rosenkavalier.

Congratulations Sophie!
