Berliner Philharmoniker comes to British cinemas in 3D

The Berliner Philharmoniker joins the 3D revolution.

It has been announced that the first ever screening of a classical music concert in 3D will be of the Berliner Philharmoniker conducted by Sir Simon Rattle.  The concert of Mahler’s Symphony No 1 and Rachmaninov Symphonic Dances was recorded in Singapore last year, at a concert arranged by Askonas Holt.  This will be screened internationally and shown in cinemas in the UK on 9 May.
