Benjamin Bernheim makes his Royal Opera House debut as Rodolfo in ‘La bohème’

This week, tenor Benjamin Bernheim will make his eagerly awaited Royal Opera House debut as Rodolfo in Richard Jones’ stunning new production of La bohème. Paul Wynne Griffiths will conduct an exciting young cast featuring Simona Mihai as Mìmi, Mariusz Kwiecień as Marcello and Joyce El-Khoury as Musetta.

Benjamin began this season by making his role debut as Alfredo in La traviata at the Deutsche Oper Berlin to critical acclaim. Following his performances in London, Benjamin will return to the Opéra de Paris to sing Rodolfo in Claus Guth’s new production of La bohème alongside soprano starlets Nicole Car and Aida Garifullina. Further ahead he will make his Wiener Staatsoper debut as Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore and his US debut as the title role in Faust for the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Benjamin will appear in La bohème on 6 and 10 October. More information can be found here.
