Sergey Radchenko

Introduction

The 24 year old Russian tenor currently studies at the Bolshoi Theatre Academy of Young Singers, which he joined in 2011. He received his training at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory and the Russian Academy of Choral Arts.

Sergey has already worked with many leading conductors including Vladimir Spivakov, Yuri Bashmet, Vladimir Fedoseev, Vasily Sinaisky, Yuri Simonov and Christopher Moulds, amongst others. He has received etxtensive vocal coaching by Dmitry Vdovin, Elena Obraztsova, Diane Zola, Svetlana Nesterenko, Luba Orfenova, Evgeny Nesterenko Neil Schicoff, Elizabeth Vidal and Semyon Skigin. He also enjoyed collaborations with Stage Directors such as Stephen Lawless, Andreis Zagars and Francesco Zambello.

Sergey has won the first prize at the International Feodor Chaliapin Young Singers Competition as well at first prize and a special prize for the best rendition of a Mozart aria at the Bibigul Tulegenova International Vocalists Competition.
