Nicholas Phan
Introduction
Nicholas Phan is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the Manhattan School of Music. He made his professional operatic debut with Glimmerglass Opera, has been a member of Wolf Trap Opera and the Houston Grand Opera Studio.
Recent opera engagements include Lucano (L’incoronazione di Poppea) in Los Angeles, Telemaco (Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria) for Chicago Opera Theatre, Lurcanio (Ariodante) for the Frankfurt Opera, Pedrillo (Die Entfuhrung aus dem Serail) for both Houston Grand Opera and the Ravinia Festival, Lindoro (L’Italiana in Algeri) with Opera de Lille, Fenton (Falstaff) for Glyndebourne On Tour, his Edinburgh Festival debut as Malcolm (Macbeth) and Lindoro for both Opera de Lille and the Deutsche Oper am Rhein.
