Born in Kiev, Alexandra Kadurina graduated from the Kiev Music College in 2004 and received her Masters Degree from the Kiev National Music Academy in 2010. She was on the Young Artist programme at the Bolshoi, graduating in July 2011. Alexandra has been a prize-winner in several competitions, including ‘XXI Art Competition’ in Kiev in 2006, All-Russia Vocal Contest for Young Singers St. Petersburg in 2007, and Antonin Dvorak International Competition in Karlovy Vary in 2008.
Engagements in 2016/17 include a concert performance of Laura Iolanta with the Russian National Orchestra cond. Mikhail Pletnev, Frosya Semyon Kotko in concert conducted by Vladimir Jurowski at the Concertgebouw, Mozart Requiem with the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, Dorabella Cosi fan tutte at the Grand Théâtre de Genève and the Bolshoi Theatre, Cherubino Le nozze di Figaro at the Bolshoi and Dryade Ariade auf Naxos at the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall.
