Peter Coleman-Wright

Introduction

Peter Coleman-Wright is widely considered one of the most versatile singers in the world today, equally at home in opera, concert and recital.  He appears in the major houses in Europe and North America and is a regular guest in his native Australia. His engagements include performances with the Metropolitan Opera New York, English National Opera, Opera Australia, and the Royal Opera, Covent Garden.  In concert he appears with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic and Sir Mark Elder, the London Symphony and Sir Colin Davis, and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and Sir Simon Rattle.

In 2010 he sang the world premiere of Brett Dean's "Bliss" for Opera Australia. He sings Macbeth and Jokanaan ("Salome") for Opera Australia, Beckmesser ("Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg") for the Royal Opera, and the title role in Glanert’s "Caligula" for English National Opera.
