Anatoli Sivko makes his debut at the Bayerische Staatsoper



On 6 March 2016 Anatoli Sivko will make his debut at the Bayerische Staatsoper as Samuel in a new production of Verdi’s ‘Un ballo in maschera’. The premiere will be broadcast live on BR-Klassik and the production will also be shown on Staatsoper.TV on 18 March 2016
The past year has been a very exciting time for Anatoli, who won second prize and the audience prize at the 2015 Vinas competition, and first prize in the Neue Stimmen competition. Other highlights include his debut at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Chamberlain in ‘Le Rossignol’ at the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Farfarello in ‘L’Amour Des Trois Oranges’ for Latvian National Opera, the title role of Attila in Tallinn and Zuniga in ‘Carmen’ in Zurich.
In June this year, Anatoli will make his debut at Dutch National Opera as Naroemov in ‘Pique Dame’. Looking further ahead, highlights include his debuts at the Liceu in Barcelona, Opéra de Montreal, Salzburg Festival and Glyndeboure.
